MAY'SGODDESS SUMMONING RELEASE WILL BE WARRIOR RISING. |
I’m thrilled that it’s finally time for the release of MARKED: A HOUSE OF NIGHT NOVEL, which is the first book in the young adult series I’ve coauthored with my fabulous daughter, Kristin. This series has been a joy to write (we’re working on the third book right now), and I am excited to be getting such wonderful reviews. Seems people are as excited about it as Kristin and me!
The HOUSE OF NIGHT novels are set in a world much like ours except in Zoey Redbird’s world vampyres have always existed. Kristin and I have created a new vampyre mythos where our vamps have a biological reason for their existence. They have established a complex matriarchal society ruled by High Priestesses who give their allegiance to the vampyre goddess, Nyx. Sixteen year old Zoey steps into this mystical society after being Marked to begin the Change from human to vampyre a Change that takes about four years to complete. But not everyone who is Marked will Change many fledglings cannot survive the physiological adaptations and will die. As if that’s not stress enough, Zoey has been Marked as special by Nyx and given powers never before seen in a fledgling. When all she really wants is to fit in her new life, Zoey comes to understand that she must assume the leadership of the school’s most elite club, the Dark Daughters. Will Zoey have the strength to do what Nyx asks of her? Will Zoey even survive the Change? Check out MARKED (St. Martin’s Press, May 1st release date) and find out! Here’s what’s already being said about MARKED: Romantic Times says: "This promises to be a highly addictive series!" 4 Stars, Top Pick "The Casts have put a very interesting new spin on vampire lore. The action is fast paced and absorbing, interspersing light moments among the intensity. When you reach the climax of the tale, you'll be on the edge of your seat." "MARKED: THE HOUSE OF NIGHT BOOK 1 is a thrilling peek into a whole new world where vampyres coexist with humans?I just can’t wait for the next book in this series!" |

What people are saying about GODDESS OF LOVE: "Goddess of Love is touching, clever, and an excellent heiress to the Goddess Summoning series. "Sexy, charming, and fun, Goddess of Love is the fantasy romance of the year! You will fall in love with this book. (I did!)" |
AVAILABLE NOW! DIVINE BY BLOODA STRANGER IN TWO WORLDS Conceived in a lie and trapped in a tree throughout her gestation, Morrigan’s birth was truly magical. After that start, she spent the next eighteen years raised as a normal girl in Oklahoma. Upon discovering the truth of her heritage, her rage and grief take on a power of their own, carrying her back to the world of Partholon. Yet, instead of being respected as the daughter of the goddess Incarnate, Morrigan feels like a shunned outsider. In her desperation to belong in Partholon, she confronts forces she doesn’t fully understand or control. And soon a strange darkness draws closer "Fantastic story of redemption!" "I loved this book and found that the plot and the characters completely took me away from the laundry, dishes, and other chores I had to do. An escape from the mundane, Divine by Blood is a fantastic way to wile away a summer day." "This fifth book in Cast’s rich and complex Partholon series focuses on the next generation of the goddess Epona’s Chosen. The seductive power of darkness is at the core of this cautionary tale of mothers and daughters. This is a very welcome addition to the series." |

DIVINE BY MISTAKE is the much anticipated re-release of my first novel, GODDESS BY MISTAKE. I’m getting lots of questions about the differences between the two editions, etc. Here’s the scoop: In the rewrite I’ve updated the pop references, made some of the plot points (especially those that impact future books) more specific, and generally smoothed out the writing not to mention corrected all the typos that found their way into the small press printings (ugh). Yes, Shannon’s mouth is still the same. Yes, ClanFintan is still utterly scrumptious. Would I recommend you buy it if you already have GODDESS BY MISTAKE? Yep! It’s a better book and I think it’ll make the next several books that come after it clearer.

![]() Order Goddess of the Rose |
Let PC Cast take you to the Realm of the Rose for a sensuous new Beauty and the Beast fantasy in GODDESS OF THE ROSE. (Berkley, Feb 06). Check out the 4 1/2 Star review by Romantic Times: Mikado Mikki Empousai has inherited her family’s extraordinary gift for cultivating roses. For generations, the women of Empousai have used drops of their blood to help grow these magnificent roses. Generally, Mikki lives a typical life in Tulsa, but recently she has been having strange and erotic dreams about a man/beast she can’t quite see. Then through a quirk of fate, Mikki accidentally performs an ancient ritual to the Goddess Hecate and uses her blood to awaken the slumbering Guardian. Suddenly, Mikki finds herself transported to the Realm of the Rose, where she is considered the high priestess. It is her job to save both the fading roses and the realm. All is not right in the realm, and great sacrifices may be necessary. Helping her in this task is the fearsome Guardian, who is part man/part beast. At first, Mikki is intimidated by him, but soon she begins to recognize him from her dreams. Giving her own unique spin to the beloved "Beauty and the Beast" tale, Cast does another outstanding job of blending magic, myth and romance with a decidedly modern twist. Her imagination and storytelling abilities are true gifts to the genre. (Feb., 345 pp., $6.99) Jill M. Smith back to top |

"Cast’s tales of Partholon are truly magical. The world is an intriguing mix of Celtic folklore and Greek legend, peopled with an astonishing range of unique races, from the Goddess-touched humans to the powerful centaurs to the winged New Fomorians. Daringly casting a half-human/half-equine as a romantic heroine, this fantasy adventure explores the nature of love, both physical and spiritual, and the soul’s ability to rebound from tragedy. Cast once again challenges readers to look beyond outward appearances and, simultaneously, crafts an exciting adventure that will appeal both to romance and traditional fantasy fans." back to top |

P.C. In the August issue of Romantic Times Book Club, the editors chose "Goddess of the Sea" as an Autumn Blockbuster!
"Goddess Of The Sea is, without doubt, one of the most innovative fantasy romances I've read. From beginning to end, the surprises on P.C Cast's new page-turner never stopped. It's poignancy resonates with both whimsy and fantasy, leaving the reader with a child-like believability in the impossible. I loved it!" Sharon Sala, |
